Ulambana Month & Amitabha Puja

[Merit Dedication Month Edition]

Mani House has held Amitabha Puja activities in commemoration of the month of ‘Sharing or Dedication of Merits’ / Chau Tu / Ulambana.
Ulambana month (Chit Gwee) is the suitable month to accumulate virtues. Offerings made to accummulate virtues are held as part of Chau Tu Amitabha Puja activities.

Besides that, we can dedicate these merit-sharings to deceased relatives who have departed or dedicate to living beings and others so they can be free from lower rebirths and causes of sufferings.

Dharma friends are encouraged to attend the classes for three days consecutively in order to accummulate virtues that will be dedicated on the last day of the Puja ceremony (Sunday, August 30th, 2020)

Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche also explains the meanings of Amitabha puja in the class and recitation of prayers are also conducted for three days. The ritual will be perfomed on Sunday and we will dedicate our merits to families, friends or other sentient beings.

Overall, the activities went smoothly and lovely. May all Dharma activities in the world run smoothly without any hindrances!
