Event Date: Sunday, July 19th, 2020, Mani House had Chau Tu / Khorwa Dongdruk led by Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche.
Chau Tu / Khorwa Dongtruk is the Sharing of Merits dedicated for deceased people and or for those who are still alive.
Sharing of Merit dedication is one of the many activities that can be done at any time.
Benefits of Chau Tu / Khorwa Dungdruk are as follows:
For those who have departed:
1. Rejoice when they see their relatives doing good merits dedicated for them.
2. By giving merit dedications for them so they can be born in pure land.
For living beings:
1. Dedications made for good health, long life & prosperity.
2. Purification of bad karma and hindrances.
The activity was attended by both offline and online participants. Participants attended at the center were grouped into two and placed in separate floors having social distancing protocols between participants. Before entering the center, participants were also directed to the area to wash their hands, have their body temperatures checked and so forth.
