Heart Sutra

The Heart Sutra, or Prajñāpāramitā Hṛdaya Sūtra, is one of the most profound teachings in Mahayana Buddhism. In just a few powerful lines, it captures the essence of wisdom: the realization of emptiness (śūnyatā), the interconnectedness of all things, and the impermanence that underlies existence. Its most famous phrase, ‘Form is emptiness, emptiness is form,’ invites us to look beyond appearances and understand that everything is interdependent and without a fixed self.

Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche’s voice, reciting this sacred text, becomes more than just a recording—it’s a transmission of wisdom. Through his voice, the timeless truths of the Heart Sutra come alive.
