Taking Refuge to Buddha, Dharma and Sangha is the gateway towards enlightenment. Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche will give teaching before the commencement of refuge ceremony.
Rinpoche will explain why we have to seek refuge, whom do we seek refuge with and the proper way to seek refuge.
Afterwards, Rinpoche will start the program by giving refuge, the ritual of cutting hair and giving Buddhist name to each participant.
This is a precious opportunity for those who wish to take true refuge vows and they will be led by a qualified teacher.
By the end of ceremony, each will be given a Buddhist name and a free refuge book.
